This portable device gives you the means to easily identify counterfeit U.S. bills printed with security features of any denomination using four detection methods. An ultraviolet light picks up the security threads woven into bills that causes them to glow different colors, and a fluorescent light exposes the watermarks embedded in the paper of authentic currency. It also has a magnetic detector that beeps when it identifies the magnetic ink used in legitimate bills, and a built-in 2.5X magnifier that enables micro-printing to be viewed and allows you to scrutinize color variations between denominations.
