This über cool blank book is perfect as a journal, sketchbook and message board all at once.
The cover is created from a sturdy children's chalkboard and is filled with 240 pages (120 leaves) of various papers. It even includes a piece of chalk so that you can keep your daily list of things to do in plain view.
The papers include 144 pages of acid free, 70 lb., fine tooth drawing paper. The drawing paper is well suited for using both sides of each leaf. It works well with a variety of media including ink, pencil, charcoal and of course, chalk! The remaining 96 pages are a mixture of wide ruled paper, grid paper, green bar computer paper and vintage papers from discarded library books. Many of the vintage papers contain colorful and interesting illustrations. The library pocket in front includes a custom library card. You can also use the pocket to store small notes and findings.
The book's finished size is 6" x 9" x 1 3/8" (15.2 cm x 22.8 cm x 3.5 cm).
The book is hand bound with butterscotch, red and orange linen thread using a traditional coptic stitch. This binding allows the pages to open completely flat, which is great for writing or drawing. This is a sturdy book.
