Automatic Bucket Ice Cream Churn

Recalling the classic wooden bucket churns from the 19th century, this ice cream maker produces creamy ice cream without tedious hand cranking. The 90-rpm motor turns a six-fin paddle that whips air into ingredients inside a 4-quart aluminum canister, producing a smooth, rich soft serve ice cream in 30-40 minutes. The paddle quickly crushes cookies, fruit, or chocolate chips and thoroughly integrates them into the mixture. The solid fir bucket holds ice and rock salt to keep the canister at the optimal 10º F temperature for churning ice cream.
