The stand on the back rotates, allowing you to enjoy your apps in 4 different positions:
1. Landscape Mode (when Appstand is wider than it is tall)
2. Personal Landscape Mode (rotating stand 180 degrees when in Landscape Mode)
3. Portrait Mode (when Appstand is taller than it is wide)
4. Personal Portrait Mode (rotating stand 180 degrees when in Portrait Mode)

The Personal modes are great for using or viewing apps when the Appstand is right in front of you on a table or desk. Put it on clock mode, use it to display the cover art of your iTunes, have it cycle through photos of your loved ones, pull up the calculator to do some quick mathematics. You can even chat away on speakerphone while your iPhone is nestled securely in the Appstand. The holes in the back of the Appstand allow you access to all the ports and buttons, and if you desperately need to snap a picture, the camera lens is open and ready! We're not sure why you'd need to suddenly take a picture, but you can, and that's all that matters, right?
