Description
The sunjar collects direct sunlight, secretly charging its nicad battery, waiting for the darkness when it will automatically glow with its three LED's, light refracting through its frosted surface. Water and weather proof, placed in the garden it looks like a trapped firefly, placed on the window-sill a votive candle. Created by Tobias Wong, the sunjar is a bit of populist conceptual product, something you could build yourself if you had a spare afternoon, and that is part of its charm. A simple bit of magic, then.
